 Dr George Bien is one of America’s leading experts on subconscious reprogramming. A recipient of every conceivable award in the profession of hypnotherapy, Dr Bien is the world’s first recipient of National Guild of Hypnotists President Award and the eminent Charles Trebbetts Award. Dr Bien also received the world’s second National Guild of Hypnotists Dr Rexford L. North Memorial Trophy for redefining classical hypnosis. This trophy is widely respected as the Oscar of Hypnotists.
Dr Bien also received the 1989 Behavioralist Sealah Award from International Hall of Fame, 1992 IAHRE Presenter Award, 1996 President Award from IACT (International Association of Counselors and Therapists) and 1991 Educator of the Year (IACT). In 1989, he was inducted into the Hypnosis International Hall of Fame.
Dr Bien is a certified NLP trainer and a Fellow in Clinicial Hypnotherapy. He is the former principal trainer for most of the prestigious hypnotherapy organizations - National Guild of Hypnotists, American Board of Hypnotherapy and International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT). Serving on the Advisory Board of IACT, he is also a faculty member at Five Towns College and York College of City University of New York. In Singapore, Dr Bien is the chairman of HardKnocksCollege.com.
Many of New York’s hypnotherapy teachers are trained by Dr Bien. In addition, he has taught hundreds of teachers all over the world. Many of his students are listed in the Who’s Who in hypnotherapy. Some have advanced to become hypnosis celebrities. Setting new standards for Interactive Hypnotherapy, it has since been adopted by hypnotherapists and instructors worldwide. It is no wonder then that many in this field refer to him as the Hypnosis Trainer of Trainers!
Dr Bien’s face has graced the covers of many major hypnosis magazines while his name has been quoted frequently in books. Many have labeled him America’s Top Mind Coach.
Apart from his distinction in hypnosis education, Dr Bien is a world-class guitarist cum composer. In the sporting arena, Dr Bien is a certified scuba driver and holds a Black Belt in karate.
